Interested in donating your bridal gown? Great!

First, a few things you should know:

  • We enjoy receiving bridal gowns from all over the country. No bridesmaid/mother-of-the-bride dresses, please.
  • We accept bridal gowns designed within the last five years.
  • We accept accessories such as belts, sashes, veils, headpieces, jewelry, and jackets. No crinolines or undergarments, please.

Ready to donate? Here’s how:

Non-Local Donations:

  1. Take the gown out of any box it may currently be in
  2. Roll the gown as tight as you can and place it in a pillow case (or something comparable)
  3. Place the rolled-up gown in a shipping box
  4. Complete this donation form*
  5. Place donation form and gown in box
  6. Send box to:

Local Donations:

  1. Take the gown out of any box
  2. Hang gown in bag
  3. Complete this donation form*
  4. Drop off gown and form at our shop location between the following hours:
    Tuesdays 2:00 pm – 6 pm
    Thursdays 2:00 pm-6:00 pm
    Saturdays 11:00 am-3:00 pm

There is a small administrative cost to The Brides Project and the Cancer Support Community to process each donated gown. We kindly encourage a donation of $25 to cover these costs.

Within a month, you will receive a letter confirming that we have received your gown and containing your tax receipt. If you have any questions, please email us at donate@thebridesproject.org

Are you a bridal shop or designer wanting to donate? Amazing!

We love receiving discontinued samples or overstock direct from bridal salons and designers. All donations are tax-deductible and all profits raised directly fund programs for individuals impacted by cancer. We truly appreciate your support!
